The Unemployment benefit Funds preparedness during the pandemic
PAU’s Unemployment benefit Fund has taken the following steps to be prepared for the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. The measures include all benefits paid out by the Unemployment benefit Fund. Here are the steps we have taken to maintain a high service quality during the pandemic.
- Our staff is mainly working remote from home to avoid commuting to the workplace by public transport. This means that we can manage all benefit payment remotely via a protected VPN network.
- We have moved our internal and external meetings to Microsoft Teams and Skype. We also use protected e-mail channels and telephone calls for internal communication.
- We follow the guidelines for good hygiene published by the Institute for Health and Welfare as well as the Ministry for Foreign Affairs advice for travelling during the pandemic.
- We continuously monitor how the situation develops and change our work routines as needed.
The Unemployment benefit Funds customer service point on Siltasaarenkatu is closed. We recommend that our members contact us via the online service or by telephone.
NB! New telephone advice hours from beginning of March 2020. We are available Monday-Thursday 10:00-15:00.
How to log in to our web service Netta
Beginning at 9 am, 25.2.2020, log in using Suomi.fi e-Identification. Suomi.fi e-Identification is a shared identification service for public administration e-services. The use of e-services is safe, and your privacy is protected after you have been identified. You can carry out e-Identification using your personal online banking codes, a certificate card, a mobile certificate or eIDAS identification.
